Every Basta® Essential Wool Mattress is made by hand using certified natural materials and contains no synthetic foam, chemical flame retardants, or unnecessary additives. To make larger mattresses practical and safe to deliver, all Basta® mattresses wider than 135 cm are constructed in two equal sections and shipped in separate packages. The two sections connect securely with a discreet zipper, creating a unified sleeping surface. The joining seam does not affect the mattress’s comfort or performance and cannot be felt while sleeping.
