The Basta® Wool Batting Duvet combines GOTS-certified virgin wool batting with a lightweight GOTS-certified organic cotton shell to create a breathable layer of natural comfort. Designed as a straightforward year-round duvet, it provides warmth without relying on synthetic filling or silicone treatments.

The GOTS-certified virgin wool batting gently surrounds the body while helping regulate temperature and manage moisture throughout the night. Wool responds naturally to changing conditions, providing warmth in cooler temperatures while allowing excess heat and humidity to escape when conditions become warmer.

The wool filling is enclosed in a lightweight GOTS-certified organic cotton shell selected for its softness, breathability, and durability. Together, the wool and cotton create a comfortable sleeping environment without the clammy feeling that can result from less-breathable synthetic materials.

Each Basta® Wool Batting Duvet is handcrafted using carefully selected natural materials. It contains no synthetic fibers, silicone treatments, chemical flame retardants, or unnecessary additives. This straightforward construction preserves the wool’s natural breathability, resilience, and moisture-managing properties.

This duvet is intended as a versatile year-round option, although individual warmth requirements will vary according to room temperature, season, bedding, and personal preference. Because the filling contains pure natural wool batting without synthetic stabilizers, the duvet must not be machine-washed or hand-washed.
