Collaboration with Abby from Twist Me Pretty

On this project, we worked with the gorgeous Abby Smith (lifestyle blogger) and Tana Hallows (interior designer). Abby was in the process of renovating her home when she reached out to us. She had a very long wall with windows in her living room, where she has always imagined having a window seat. So with Steve from Home Repairs Basements and Decks and Tana’s help the seat was finally there. The final dimensions were 167″ long and 23’’ deep, which was quite long. Abby and Tana had in their mind an idea of a single piece extra-long tufted cushion in a very light fabric that will match the rest of the décor.

This was for sure a custom project that needed some very crafty hands and high-quality materials. And here is where Home of Wool came in! As soon as we saw the pictures and the design ideas we knew we were going to take up this challenge! After discussing the perfect amount of wool filling and the most suitable fabric for her family, dimensions, sizes, we started working on this one of a kind more than 4 meters long custom-made cushion.

Abby and Tana wanted to create a cozy space for the whole family with a lot of natural light.  For the cover, we have used 100% Heavyweight Cotton, which is our lightest in shade all-natural fabric. We’ve also added piped edges to finish the stylish look. The end result was stunning and most importantly we’re able to make Abby’s dream come true!

I love his space so much, it’s one of my favorite spots in the whole house… What made this window seat was the pad we ordered from Home of Wool.  It’s stunning and 100% wool so it’s soft as can be and cleans up easily.  I can’t recommend Home of Wool enough, the seat is absolutely beautiful!”
