Tufted Cushions

  • Spot clean the cover of the tufted cushion if needed. Itโ€™s always advisable to treat spots immediately.ย
  • Vacuum thoroughly both sides of your cushion with the upholstery brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner.
  • Let it air out in the sun for a day.

Non-Tufted Cushions

  • Wash the cover. Use gentle cycle, low temperature. Use a mild detergent, without brighteners. Air-dry it completely. Steam iron.
  • Vacuum the insert and let it air out in the sun for a day.

Wool Blankets

  • Hand wash and rinse your wollen dekens gently in lukewarm water (around 90ยบ F / 30ยบ C). Use a mild wool detergent. If you use a machine, set it on wool cycle at 90ยบ F / 30ยบ C . Do not tumble dry or bleach. Gently squeeze any excess water.ย
  • Air-dry. Make sure the blankets are completely dry before you put them away for the warmer months.
  • Store in a storage bag or plastic box to keep moths and other pests out. To protect from condensation, wrap them in clean cotton fabric. Tuck a lavender sachet bag in the bag. Lavender is the perfect natural moth-repellent.ย

Wool Duvets

  • We do not recommend frequent washing of wollen dekbedvullingen. Always use inside a dekbedovertrek. If an incident happens and you need to wash the duvet, however, handwash or use gentle wool cycle, low temperature, no more than 90ยบ F / 30ยบ C, and a mild detergent. Never tumble-dry. Air-dry while completely dry, preferably on a flat surface.ย
  • Before putting them in storage for the warmer months, let your wool duvet inserts out in the sun for a day.

Lavender is the perfect natural moth-repellent. Make sure they’re completely dry before you put them away for the summer.
