100% Cotton Fabric – Midweight

Whether you’re sewing for your home or creating something by hand, choosing the right fabric makes all the difference. This organic cotton fabric combines everyday durability with the natural softness and breathability that only pure cotton can provide.

Woven from 100% cotton and certified to the GOTS® standard, it is completely free from synthetic fibers or dyes. The result is a natural cotton fabric that feels pleasant to the touch, allows air to circulate freely, and is suitable for anyone who prefers natural materials.

At 260 g/m² (7.66 oz/yd²), this medium weight cotton fabric offers excellent versatility. It has enough body for a wide range of sewing and home décor projects while remaining supple and easy to cut, sew, and handle.

The fabric measures 150 cm (59″) in width and is sold as cotton fabric by the metre. Whatever length you order, we will cut it as one continuous piece whenever possible, allowing you to work with fewer joins and less waste.

Because this GOTS certified cotton fabric has not been chemically treated to reduce shrinkage or wrinkles, it retains the authentic qualities of natural cotton. After the first wash, expect approximately 13% shrinkage in length, while the width remains stable. Wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent without optical brighteners. Like all untreated cotton, the fabric will naturally wrinkle after washing.
