The One Room Challenge (ORC) is a widely anticipated event that provides design influencers with an enthusiastic forum to share their process of transforming a space. Fueled by her passion for creating spaces, last year the talented Sachi Lord jumped at the opportunity to breathe life into her authentic style once again. A magnificent transformation of her bedroom was the ultimate goal, and boy, did she make it? Look at this incredible work of art.
Sachi and her husband, Mike, took upon a challenging 8-week journey to fulfill their ambitious project – a bedroom and a bathroom with brand new furniture and decor, shifting of the furniture layout, a fresh coat of paint, new hardware, and new window coverings. The big reveal speaks for itself.

Handcrafted by Bulgarian artisans, a Home of Wool tufted wool headboard was the perfect finish of Sachi’s canopy bed. Precision in custom dimensions and the special request for leather loops to secure the headboard to the bed were both satisfied. The choice of 100% virgin wool completed the texture-filled vibe of the space.
