If\u00f8lge meg har rundt 40% av babyer problemer med s\u00f8vnen. Det finnes familier uten strenge rutiner, og likevel f\u00e5r de normal s\u00f8vn. S\u00f8vnrutinen er spesielt nyttig hvis babyen har veldig vanskelig for \u00e5 sovne eller hvis de daglige lurene er under 40 minutter, og de v\u00e5kner s\u00f8vnl\u00f8se. I slike tilfeller er en s\u00f8vnrutine et must i minst et par dager. N\u00e5r ting begynner \u00e5 normalisere seg, kan vi l\u00f8sne p\u00e5 regimet.<\/p>\n<p>Noen babyer og barn m\u00e5 imidlertid f\u00f8lge en s\u00f8vnplan hele tiden. Hvis det er ubalanse mellom inntaket av v\u00e6ske og fast f\u00f8de, kan det oppst\u00e5 problemer med nattes\u00f8vnen. Hvis barnet for eksempel har problemer med \u00e5 spise fast f\u00f8de og moren har sluttet \u00e5 amme om dagen, vil barnet begynne \u00e5 v\u00e5kne om natten fordi det vil ammes. Assosiasjoner spiller en viktig rolle i babyens s\u00f8vn.<\/p>\n<p>Som babys\u00f8vnskonsulent tiln\u00e6rmer jeg meg problemet p\u00e5 f\u00f8lgende m\u00e5te: F\u00f8rst l\u00f8ser vi eventuelle problemer knyttet til babyens s\u00f8vnforhold. Hvis det skjer en betydelig forbedring, er det mest sannsynlig at det ikke er noe tilknytningsproblem, og det er nok til \u00e5 l\u00f8se situasjonen. Men hvis problemet vedvarer, m\u00e5 vi fokusere p\u00e5 \u00e5 hjelpe babyen med \u00e5 sovne med stadig mindre hjelp fra omgivelsene.
