Whether you’re sewing for your home or creating something by hand, choosing the right fabric makes all the difference. This\u00a0organic cotton fabric\u00a0combines everyday durability with the natural softness and breathability that only pure cotton can provide.<\/p>\n

Woven from\u00a0100% cotton and certified to the GOTS\u00ae standard, it is completely free from synthetic fibers or dyes. The result is a\u00a0natural cotton fabric\u00a0that feels pleasant to the touch, allows air to circulate freely, and is suitable for anyone who prefers natural materials.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0260 g\/m\u00b2 (7.66 oz\/yd\u00b2), this\u00a0medium weight cotton fabric\u00a0offers excellent versatility. It has enough body for a wide range of sewing and home d\u00e9cor projects while remaining supple and easy to cut, sew, and handle.<\/p>\n

The fabric measures\u00a0150 cm (59″)\u00a0in width and is sold as\u00a0cotton fabric by the metre. Whatever length you order, we will cut it as one continuous piece whenever possible, allowing you to work with fewer joins and less waste.<\/p>\n

Because this\u00a0GOTS certified cotton fabric\u00a0has not been chemically treated to reduce shrinkage or wrinkles, it retains the authentic qualities of natural cotton. After the first wash, expect approximately\u00a013% shrinkage in length, while the width remains stable. Wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent without optical brighteners. Like all untreated cotton, the fabric will naturally wrinkle after washing.<\/p>\n
