   Ich habe keinen Zweifel, dass dies die beste Matratze für Neugeborene ist. Mein Mann und ich haben die HALO gekauft, und wir waren mit der ursprünglichen Matratze, die mitgeliefert wurde, nicht zufrieden. Sie hatte einen furchtbaren Geruch und war zu weich. Deshalb habe ich mich auf die Suche nach biologisch sauberen Matratzen gemacht und bin auf Home of Wool gestoßen. Wir haben die HALO-Babymatratze ein paar Monate vor der Geburt unseres Sohnes gekauft. Als ich nach der Geburt nach Hause kam, war ich beeindruckt, dass mein Baby so ruhig im Stubenwagen lag. Er hat so gut geschlafen, und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Wollfüllung wie eine warme Umarmung für ihn war. Die Home of Wool-Matratze ist fest und dünn, was für mich sehr wichtig war, nachdem ich alle Richtlinien von Kinderärzten und Experten für Kindersicherheit gelesen hatte. Sie ist sehr stützend und passt perfekt, es gibt keine Lücken zwischen der Matratze und dem Stubenwagen. Das Gefühl zu wissen, dass mein Baby auf einer Matratze schläft, die jegliche Gefahren minimiert, beruhigt mich und gibt mir die Gewissheit, dass ich die beste Wahl getroffen habe.
   Wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, haben wir die Matratze regelmäßig gedreht und gewendet und die Wollfüllung hat sich in etwa 2 Wochen komprimiert. Ich habe auch einen Schoner und Spannbettlaken gekauft und kann sie nur empfehlen!

   I don't think this is a safe product, and wouldn't recommend it.
   The wool compresses, and the instructions state that you should vary the sleeping area so that the compression is even across the pad, and this is totally impractical with a bassinet - potentially dangerous, even.
   Because you really can't alternate where your infant is going to sleep, you end up with a baby-shaped depression in the center, effectively creating something like a moses pod or bumper, both of which are advised against for safe sleep due to the increased incidence of SIDS associated with anything but a completely flat sleep surface.
   If this product is going to continue to be sold, I would urge Home of Wool to pre-compress the pads so that this divet doesn't occur and babies can sleep safely.
   We only bought the Halo because we thought this was an option for the mattress, so now I'm out not only the cost of the mattress, sheets and puddle pad, but also the Halo bassinet itself since I'm not comfortable using the polyurethane mattress it came with.
   We're going to scrap it all and get a mini-crib with a non-toxic mattress that won't compress.
   One extra star for the puddle pad, which does appear to be a good protector against accidents. I would love one for our king size bed, and wish I'd spent the money on that instead.
